It's Bigger Than The Game is an ingenious, fun, nourishing learning environment for youth basketball players who want to develop skills and life tools for optimal performance on & off the court. It's Bigger Than the Game is goes beyond winning to living a life of courage and integrity in all things.
It's Bigger Than The Game philosophy is principally focused on total player development which leads to a highly competitive edge and authentic success in every area of life. Not only will players learn the skills needed for optimal performance they will also learn life skills such as emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership.
Professionally Designed
Receive professional instruction from Trudi Lacey, WNBA Coach, Motivational Speaker and Executive Coach. Sessions are taught by Coach T and other collegiate coaches and players. These professionally designed coaching sessions use proven techniques for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual skills. Coach T has worked with elite athletes at all levels and she shares her expertise with those who desire to reach their fullest potential.
The Purpose
The purpose of the IBTG philosophy is rooted and grounded on the life lessons of Hall of Fame and Legendary Coach Kay Yow ( whom Lacey played for at North Carolina State University) who believed in giving your best, never quitting, focusing on the positive and that attitude is EVERYTHING! In addition, each player will have a shooting assessment, learn offensive moves used by professional players and increase their knowledge of the game. It's Bigger Than The Game will teach players what it takes to perform at the top of your game and the keys to success in life!
THE CAMPS
Small group teachings, receive special attention to accelarate your learning, perfect your game, improve your focus and fully develop your total game. The sessions are designed for you to learn to work hard, for specific skill improvement and for those who desire to be your best. If you want to full player development, this is for you!

Are you ready for authentic success and optimal performances on & off the court? Are your ready to win the Ultimate Game, to lead others and play the game with meaning and purpose?
"The Grateful Heart Award" is an award given to someone who has shown courage, hope, faith, unselfishness and a grateful heart in their battle with breast cancer. It will be awarded to someone who embodies the life lessons of the courage, hope, grace and dignity of the Legendary Kay Yow. In addition, a check of $1,000.00 will be donated to the Kay Yow Fund, a commemorative award will be given to the winner and the winner will be an honorary coach at a Queens University / Kay Yow Women's Basketball game.
Camp Scholarship will be awarded to be used for IBTG CAMPS OR QUEENS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMPS for individual(s) who makes a difference in others lives. Awards will be given to the winner based on a essay exemplifying the life of Kay Yow.
